Hi again. I have a question about food. We are pretty plain eaters. A lot of the table service character dining restaurants appear to have fancy menus. Is there a way to get "less fancy" food? Don't want to spend the money if we wont like the foo

Hi Laura, the great thing about dining at Walt Disney World is there is something for everyone! The chefs are excellent about trying to accommodate all food preferences and appetites. I have a few suggestions for you and hope to make your dining choices easier.

Many of the character dining locations are buffets with lots of choices from "fancy" selections to more standard and basic fare. For example, Chef Mickey's at the Contemporary offers Mickey waffles, scrambled eggs and breakfast potatoes for breakfast and oven-roasted turkey, mashed potatoes, Mac and cheese and nuggets for dinner. The Garden Grill in the Land Pavilion in Epcot offers char-grilled filet of beef and oven roasted turkey, mashed potatoes and Mac and cheese. 1900 Park Fare at the Grand Floridian has am y of the same breakfast and dinner options as well as a create-your-own pasta bar that would allow you to make it exactly as you would like it!

I hope this offers some great options to meet some famous Disney friends while enjoying your meal, too!

    Bon Apetit,
