Hello - me again :-). In which park/what location/which hours can we rent strollers for 2? Can we book for more than one day and store it at the Disney hotel? Do we have to bring it back to the same place the last day? Many thanks

    Hello Emmanuelle!

Welcome again to planDisney! I see that you have been excitedly planning a special holiday for you and your little ones!

I always recommend to anyone bringing a little one to Walt Disney World Resort in Florida to have a stroller. Little legs and feet are just not ready for the amount of walking that happens in a day at Walt Disney World. All four theme parks are huge and the amount of walking can be intense for everyone. Each of the Disney Parks has stroller rental locations usually located just within the Park Entrances. They will have both single and double strollers that you can rent for a flat fee. These strollers are made of molded plastic and have a large cover or shade with a fun design of Mickey and Minnie. The double stroller is perfect for two kids. There is a day-to-day rental option or a very reasonable option to rent for the length of stay. The strollers are first come, first served so make sure you visit the stroller rental location as soon as you arrive at the Parks. Since it seems that you are staying for several days I would recommend purchasing the Multi-Day option so that you only have to pay once. Once you do, you will get a receipt that you will need to keep in a safe place. Use this receipt every time you visit the Parks or when visiting another Park so that you can pick up your stroller for the day. Don't wait at the register but head right to the Cast Member stationed near the strollers with your receipt for more efficient service. You must know that these strollers cannot leave the Parks. They must be returned right where you picked them up before you leave the Parks and therefore not allowed to be used to help you get to the Resorts. Another option you can consider if you would like to have a stroller to use anywhere is to rent from an outside vendor such as ScooterBug. ScooterBug is currently the only Disney Featured Provider for strollers which means they have the special privilege of being the vendor that can deliver strollers to your Disney Resort Hotel even if you are not there to receive it. This way it is available to you as soon as you arrive. In addition, this vendor can also pick it up without you being present. There are other private vendors in the area but since they are not a Disney Featured Provider you will have to be present for pick up and drop off of the stroller. The stroller selections from ScooterBug are more traditional with recline features and under-stroller storage. Their selection also includes double strollers!

If you get a stroller that you can take with you to the Resort, know that if using bus transportation you will have to fold the stroller up. The Disney Skyliner and Monorail are great for strollers as you can just roll right on with the kids secured inside. That's perfect for late nights when the kids have fallen asleep or are just not able to walk or handle the world anymore.

I hope this helps and if you have any questions please feel free to let me know directly!

    Happy Planning!
