    Hello again Mom's Panel :) I was wondering if anyone could tell me if the doors at PO-R are magnetic? I'd lke to make a couple room signs so its easy for the kiddos to find our room. I can do door hangers instead, but would love to print some magnets!

    Wow - what an interesting question!  I love the idea of that!  You must be a very creative person, and have some wonderful ideas to keep your family entertained and organized!

    Disney strongly discourages this idea, however, for a couple of reasons.  One, it detracts from the overall Resort appearance.  Disney works very hard to create a very special and magical atmosphere for their guests that is part of the overall vacation experience.  You can imagine that if everyone began decorating the outsides of their rooms how it would distract the guests' appreciation of the gorgeous architecture and landscaping, and detract from that beauty.  This is the same reason Guests are asked to refrain from hanging clothing or towels over their balcony rails.

    Another point:  it would be very easy for someone to remove your sign and hang it on a different door.  This would be very confusing for your child, and potentially even dangerous.

    Maybe you could look at this trip as a great opportunity to teach your children how to recognize numbers and symbols!

    I am sorry I don't have a better solution to offer at this time.  I wish you all a very magical time in Walt Disney World!  I am sure you will truly appreciate the beauty of the Port Orleans-Riverside Resort!
