Hi again panel! Going to WDW in a couple of weeks and was wondering if there are any other beaches near by besides blizzard beach? Thx!

Hello Jennifer and thank you for bringing another valued question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
I can just imagine how excited you're beginning to feel about your rapidly approaching trip to Walt Disney World Resort; I'm delighted when my own countdown to Disney gets into the lower numbers, especially when I finally get to do the single digit Disney dance!
I'm happy to share with you that Walt Disney World Resort benefits from not 1, but 2 splashtastic water parks - Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park and Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park!  A day spent enjoying all the watery fun at either park is absolutely a wetter-is-better experience for all the family.
If you wish to travel outside of Walt Disney World Resort using your own transport to visit a real beach on the coast, I believe the nearest one is Cocoa Beach which is approximately 1 hours drive away.
    Have a great Disney day.
