Hi again Panel! We're staying in a FW cabin arriving 1/23/13 for 4 days-mom, dad, & son turning 3yo on trip! Would like to know if daily housekeeping service is provided to FW cabins? So excited-1st time in FW & looking for fun activities to do als

My family had such a great time during our stay at the Fort Wilderness cabins a few years back, Myriam.  I can tell you from experience that daily housekeeping service is indeed provided (and much needed by my family of six!).  While you're there, I would highly recommend setting aside one night to visit the Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue.  There is also a stable where young children can pay for a short pony ride.  Your son would probably love that; I think my son was about three when we did it.  For the adults, there is also a Segway tour that takes place at Fort Wilderness; call 407-WDW-TOUR for information and booking.  One more thing--consider renting a golf cart.  Not only did the golf cart we rented provide additional fun to our trip, but it sure made it easy to get around the sprawling resort.

I hope I've gotten you off in the right direction, but if you find that you have follow-up questions, please do write back to me and I'd be happy to share my Fort Wilderness experience with you!

Meet the Panelist: Darcie, Alabama

Given your inclination to plan a magical trip, I can already tell we have a lot in common. I'm Darcie, and my friends would be the first to tell you that Disney trip planning (especially dining!) is my love language. Of course, the vacations my family enjoys today look much different than they did when our kids were little, but while some of our favorite activities have evolved, Disney destinations still top our travel wish lists. Let's work together to plan a downright dreamy vacation for your family! Learn More About Darcie
