Hi again Panel...once again I need your help..as new DVC members I keep hearing about the Merry Mixers..just not sure what this is all about..any info would be greatly appreciated...sounds like a fun time..Dec. can't come soon enough!! Thanks again!!!!!

    Hi Maria,

Let me be one of the first to say "Welcome Home!" to Disney Vacation Club.  You have years of magical vacations ahead of you.

The Merry Member Mixer is an event for Disney Vacation Club members to celebrate the holiday season.  Recently, through their official Facebook page, Disney Vacation Club released the dates for these events as November 25, December 2, 9, and 16, 2013.  Though I have not seen any details for this year, in the past the event has included music, dancing, and refreshments.  Sometimes members receive a holiday ornament, and there also may be the opportunity to purchase other Disney Vacation Club merchandise.

Though I have never personally been to a Merry Member Mixer, my fellow Disney Parks Moms Panelist Kari has.  She has enjoyed it very much and says that it is good for children as well.  Kari said to remind you to bring your Disney Vacation Club member card as you may need it for admittance to the event.  Do stay tuned to the Disney Vacation Club member website for details about this event in the upcoming weeks.

I hope that this information is helpful for you, Maria!  Have a great time planning your vacation, and please do not hesitate to ask if you have any further questions.  Again, "Welcome Home!" to Disney Vacation Club!
