Hi Lorrie! Welcome back to planDisney.
How fun! You can count on one hand the number of days until you arrive at
Walt Disney World Resort to partake in
The World's Most Magical Celebration. At all four theme parks, keep your eyes open for the golden
Disney Fab 50 Character Collection statues. They make the perfect selfie background you can share with family back home. Look up at the Adventureland sign in
Magic Kingdom Park for everyone's favorite sneaky monkey, Abu.
I did a little self research with my own
Disney Resorts Collection hotel reservation in the
My Disney Experience Mobile App. Under "Future Plans" I found my reservation and tapped "Start Check-In Now" without any issue. So, let's try to troubleshoot your issue and offer an alternative. First, verify that both your phone and My Disney Experience Mobile App are updated to the latest version. I recently had to update my app. If they are both up to date, close the app and reopen it to try again. Still no luck? Try to check-in online at
disneyworld.com. Log into your My Disney Experience account and select "My Plans." You should see your reservation with a "Start My Check-In Now" tab. If you are still having issues, you can call the
Disney Resorts Hotel Reservations Help Center for assistance. However, wait times have been rather long. At this point, I would probably choose to check in at the front desk upon my arrival. I hope this gives you an option that works for you!
Your visit is during the
EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival. Stop by one of the
outdoor kitchens for a fresh culinary delight. My favorite was the Spicy Hot Dog with Pineapple Chutney and Plantain Chips from Pineapple Promenade near Port of Entry. Stay until the sun goes down and
Spaceship Earth comes to shimmering EARidescent life during
Beacons of Magic.
Keeping it Magical,
Cindy
