    Hello again, for an October trip to WDW. I would like to make an 8 a.m. reservation at both The Plaza and at Garden Grill. We are staying at POFQ. Is Disney transportation going to get us there in time to go through security and get checked in on time?

    Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

    I really enjoy breakfast reservations in the Walt Disney World theme parks, and as you will be some of the first guests to enter the park, be sure to enjoy the opportunity of taking some photos of your party without anyone inadvertently walking into the background of your pictures. I would recommend you arrive at Magic Kingdom Park or Epcot no later than 30-45 minutes prior to your dining reservation. After a security check make your way to scan your MagicBand or park ticket at the entrance with a sign for "Guests with early dining reservations". There is something very special about experiencing Main Street USA as it is waking up for the day! Resort Transportation (buses from Disney's Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter) begin operating around 45 minutes before park opening times. If your breakfast reservation is taking place on a day offering Extra Magic Hours at the theme park, where the park will open an hour early exclusively for Disney Resort hotel guests, this will be around 7.15am. If you are able to board the first bus, you might have enough time, but it could be tight. Have you considered using the Minnie Van Service? These are driven by Cast Members and can accommodate up to six Guests. You can order them via the Lyft app, where you will also see the cost of this service. Alternatively you could ask the Front Desk of your hotel to call you a taxi, but please allow extra time for this because there may not be a taxi readily available at the hotel.
