Hi again, not long now! I have just booked the wild Africa trek for the first time and understand we will receive some kind of photo memorabilia is this a memory maker type product that can then be used elsewhere in the parks for photos or something diff,

    Hi Andrea,

You are in for such a treat! The Wild Africa Trek ranks at the top of my list of Walt Disney World experiences.

The guides will take lots of photos of you and others in your group during the three-hour trek. At the end, when I did the trek last fall, we got a website link and an access code that was distinct to our group. Within about 48 hours, the guides had uploaded more than 200 images from our trek plus a number of stock photos of the animals to the website. We were able to download them to keep, print and share as we liked.

So, in that way, it is similar to the Memory Maker. However, there was no band or card from the experience that could be used elsewhere.

I hope that clarifies the situation for you. Please let me know if you have any more questions about the Wild Africa Trek or if I an help with other plans for your upcoming visit. Enjoy!
