Hello again Moms/Dads. I may be bringing my little brother with us to WDW. He's 12. My daughter is 7. I don't want them sleeping in the same bed. Is there a way to get a cot in a Value Resort room? Since it's only 4 of us, a suite is more than we need.

Hi Annesha! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

To answer your question, cots (or roll away beds) are not supposed to be available anymore. The reason is safety. In the past cots were available on a first come first serve basis for a nightly fee and were not guaranteed.

If you do decide to bring your brother, another great option is Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – Riverside. Most of the rooms at this resort (except for the Royal Guest Rooms) offer a bunk-size pull down bed, even the standard view rooms. I also really like this resort because it offers a double vanity that is separate from the toilet and shower area and it feels so comfortable and quaint. I feel that the rooms are spacious enough to fit a family of four and your luggage without feeling cramped!

I hope that I have helped to answer your question! Have a magical vacation!
