Hi Mandy!
How fun that you've planned a trip that coincides with not just one spectacular holiday season at Walt Disney World - but two! Your kids are at great ages to enjoy either of the special event "Parties" at Disney's Magic Kingdom Park.
Personally, I prefer the 'magic' of
Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party. There's just something so incredible about it 'snowing' all along Main Street U.S.A., the festive holiday decorations everywhere, the most Magical fireworks display, and even an appearance by Santa Claus himself during the special parade.
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is also packed full of, well, "not-so-scary" family fun! The "Boo-to-You" parade is fantastic and the kids will enjoy trick-or-treating around Magic Kingdom park. Many of my Moms Panel friends would tell you that the Halloween party is their favorite of the two!
Whether you decide to attend one or the other, or
both parties, you'll still get to marvel at the amazing transformation of Magic Kingdom during your stay. Seemingly overnight, the entire park will go from fall colors and Halloween decor, to a Castle glistening in shimmering lights and the splendor of Christmas all around you! You've definitely picked a perfectly Magical time of year to visit Walt Disney World!
We sure to visit online and purchase your special event tickets early to avoid disappointment of your chosen date(s) being sold out.
Thanks for visiting the Moms Panel with your great question Mandy.
I hope you'll write me back again soon!
