Hello again! How long does it take to go from the AOA to downtown disney? Will there be bussing or do we have to provide our own transportation? We have lunch reservations at T-Rex at 2pm.....how early should we arrive? Thanks again!

Thanks for visiting us at the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Rose Anna!

If this is your first trip to Disney's Art of Animation Resort, you are in for a real treat.  It's is an absolutely unique resort with amazing theming.  Have fun!

You'll be glad to know that there is direct Disney Bus Transportation from your resort to Downtown Disney. Just outside Animation Hall, you will catch a bus marked for Downtown Disney.  The trip itself takes around 12 minutes but you should allow at least an hour for travel time.  If you just miss a bus, you may have to wait for 20 minutes or so for the next one.  There are so many things to explore at the Downtown Disney area so why not leave Art of Animation by 12:30pm?  If you have extra time, you'll have plenty to see and do!

Feel free to come back and ask me any additional trip planning questions.  I'm happy to help.

Until then, I wish you a magical vacation!
