Hi again. Leaving in 8 days. Has Tinker Bell made her character appearance yet at MK? I heard this would happen soon? Also, can someone tell me a little about Boma at AKL. Have ADR on 8/23. Never been there. We are staying at All Star Sports. Thanks.

Tinker Bell does not currently (August 2008) greet guests in the parks, but she is a changeable little sprite so there's always a possibility that she could change her mind one day :-)

I have had wonderful experiences at Boma. It's first great selling point is it's location inside the majestic Animal Kingdom Lodge. This is gorgeous building that really puts you in the mood for an African adventure. The buffet here is delicious. In addition to having some classic American favorites for children or adults with tame palates, there are dozens of traditional African dishes waiting for you to taste. I once heard a chef on a Food Network special describe the food at Boma as "spiced, but not spicy" and found this description to be very apt. The African foods have wonderful aromatic smells and lovely nuanced flavors that you're not going to find at your local chain restaurant.

Then, after your meal, you're free to wander around the Lodge and check out the animal viewing spots outside the hotel. Such a unique way to spend an evening!
