Hello again! The last time we went to Disney was 2018 so we're long overdue! But one of my kids favorite things was having a character call wake us up in the morning. Is this still available? I can't seem to find the answer! Thanks in advance! :)

Greetings and welcome back to planDisney, Ashley! How excited you must be about visiting The Most Magical Place on Earth for the first time in FOREVER!

It’s always fun hEARing from our pal Mickey Mouse and while these Enchanted Calls were once enjoyed by many, Mickey Mouse and all our Disney Characters are busy greeting at the Theme Parks. You can still, however, arrange for a magical call from your Disney Resort hotel Guest Room upon your arrival. Please press the “Front Desk” button on your telephone for assistance.

Also be sure to be on the lookout in the theme parks for the Character Cavalcades so that your kids can wave to their favorite Disney characters. I have really enjoyed seeing some of the lesser-known characters, like Launchpad McQuack, from DuckTales (my husband was super-stoked about this one!).

Since you’re visiting in September, I’ll also recommend that you head to EPCOT for the International Food & Wine Festival. You and your family can “eat their way around the world”, and your kids can hunt for Remy of Ratatouille.
One of my favorite foods is the Warm Raclette Swiss Cheese from The Alps booth (you can thank me later).

I hope this helps finish up your planning for your upcoming trip to Walt Disney World. Please don’t hesitate to come to us again with other questions that come up.

    Happy Traveling,
    Tracy

GAWRSH! Hiya pals! I am a Goofy-loving mom of 2, who is married to my real-life Prince Charming. My family supports my passion for all things Disney. Walt Disney World was my very first vacation, when I was just 3 months old, and I recently completed my 73rd trip to a Disney location! I have been fortune enough to parasail high above the Disney Fantasy, attend opening day of Batuu, snorkel in the lagoon at Disney's Aulani, and SO MUCH MORE! I can't wait to help you plan your Disney vacation!
