    Hello again Kirsten, Just booked POFQ for my next trip. Which building would you suggest I request and why?

    Hi Lisa!

    Excellent choice! I absolutely love Disney's Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter. It's hands-down my favourite moderate level resort. It feels like a bit of a 'hidden gem.' When I stay there, I feel as though i'm receiving more than a moderate resort - but for the fantastic, moderate price!

    The resort is so cozy and quaint that you really can't go wrong in almost any location at all! There's certainly no need to spend extra on a 'Preferred Location Room.'

    If I had to choose a specific building or area, I know precisely where my number one spot is though!
    My top pick would be in one of the 3 buildings in section "5" facing into the courtyard. Why do I love this particular location so much? Well, let me tell you why! This location is close to the pool without the noise of the pool, really close to the bus stop (there's a little cut-through pathway between the main building and the building '4' guest rooms) and I just love the beautiful, large courtyard and fountain that the rooms open out onto. It's a magical little slice of heaven!

    In order to better visualize the above, check out the portorleans.org website. It's a non-Disney 'fan site' with tonnes of great information, maps and photos of the resort. 

    Speak to a Cast Member and add a 'note' to your reservation indicating your request prior to arrival. To do so, simply call (407) 939-7675. Do keep in mind that of course this note is a 'request' and that your request cannot be guaranteed. Cast Members will do their best to meet your needs when room assignments are done, usually 24-48 hours prior to your arrival. It never hurts to politely inquire again during check-in, to see if your request was accommodated!
