Hi again Joel! Thx for your help! I see you like touring plans. Have used them before, but wondering if we need them in off season? Staying 9/26-10/3. Group of 10, 7 adults 3 kids 18mo, 8 & 9. Went in Jan w/plans, didn't need them! Thank you so much!

Hi, Katie - happy to help! If you're going in the off season, following a touring plan is less about hitting the headliners at the right time and more about seeing everything you'd like to see in a more efficient manner. You'll want to minimize your waiting times as much as possible with your 18 mo. old.

With a group of 10, a touring plan could help everyone be on the same page (or, give you justification for splitting off from the in-laws.)

I'd say try a touring plan on one of your first mornings. If it goes well, people will buy into the methodology. If it doesn't, go touring plans lite: come up with a handful of attractions that you NEED to hit that day. Make sure to do them first. Then, you can be more carefree the rest of the day and have a good sense of accomplishment under your belt (rather than a turkey leg.)
