Hi there, Allison!
Thanks for sending your question my way and welcome back!
I sure hope you enjoyed your time at Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside! How fun that you're planning your next vacation to Walt Disney World, and even more awesome that it's just going to be you and your husband! We really enjoy hanging out at our Resort hotel during our vacations too. I think it's so important to have some down time in between all of the busy days of Park touring.
Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort does not have a lounge, but they do serve alcoholic beverages at Shutters at Old Port Royale and at the poolside bar, Banana Cabana. This is a very large Resort and each of the Villages has their own white, sandy beach. There are lounge chairs and hammocks, but Guests are not permitted to swim in the lake.
Disney's Coronado Springs Resort is themed like a Southwestern village. We love the Pepper Market Food Court, there are so many choices! There is also a lounge at this Resort called Rix Lounge where they offer specialty drinks and appetizers. They have some pretty fun drinks on their menu like the Strawberry-Banana Split and a Chocolate Martini. Their pool is also pretty spectacular! They've got a 50-foot replica of a Mayan Pyramid with water cascading down the steps! They've also got the largest outdoor hot tub on Walt Disney World property.
Both Resorts are so cool! Your decision might be a tough one, but try to think about which of the themes you think you might enjoy the most. I hope that helps!
Please feel free to write back in with any other questions as you plan your next Pixie Dusted vacation!
