    Hi again, Jackie (our fav mom) - 52 days til POFQ - do u know if there is a grocery/liquor/beer store within reasonable cab distance? Also, is food court fully open at 6:00 am? Do u know approx.cab fare from Gr. Flor. to POFQ? Tks u r amazing!

    Hi Kathleen!

          As usual, it is absolutely fabulous to hear from you again!  In answer to your questions...yes, yes and yes!  Regarding your groceries and adult libations, I think that you will actually come out cheaper if you order it from GardenGrocer.com.  They have a wide variety and will deliver directly to your resort!  On the other hand, if you would rather get out and explore on your own, a Wal Mart Super Center is located about 5 miles from the resort on Vineland Road.  Of course, you can also pick up basic items (along with beer and liquor) in your resort.

           Not that this girl is  EVER up and ready to go at 6:00 AM while in Walt Disney World, but I do happen to know that they don't fire up the grill until 7:00 AM.  You can grab a pastry, fruit or bagel from the bakery, but the more substantial fare is not served until an hour later.  So if you have a craving for pancakes, eggs or sausage, you may need to grab a coffee and people watch for a while!

          While you can take a bus to the Magic Kingdom and then hop on the monorail to the Grand Floridian, ti will take you around 44 minutes.  On the other hand, if you take a cab, you can be there in under 15 minutes!  Based on the Mears taxi cab calculator, this will set you back about $11, plus tip.

          My three wonderful years on the Disney Moms Panel are coming to an end and I wanted to thank you from the bottom of my heart for being such a dear friend!
