Hello Sharon! Thanks for visiting us again at Disney Parks Moms Panel, we are always thrilled to answer any questions that you have!Disney's PhotoPass service is wonderful, I actually get to appear in our vacation photos! Here's the skinny on how it works:
Before leaving on your vacation you will receive a PhotoPass card in your travel documents from Disney or you can get these cards from any PhotoPass photographer. *Take a picture of the back of the card in case you were to loose it. As long as you have the numbers, you pictures can be retrieved. Next, create on account on
disneyphotopass.com and check out the special offers. Certain products will have a discount if you purchase this option 14 days before your day of arrival. Once you are in the parks have a blast capturing all of your families magical moments. If you need to have multiple cards, you can just add them all to one account once you get home. You do have the option of viewing your photos and purchasing them while on vacation, just look for the photo center.
Upon your return home register all of your PhotoPass cards to your account, then have fun creating special borders and touches to your pictures. You can even upload your own vacation photos. Pictures are available for 30 days so keep that in mind because if you need them longer you will have to pay for an extension. If you have pre-purchased products like the PhotoPass CD, your account will be credited. When you finish editing, check out and the credit will be there. The CD that you receive has a release so you can print all the pictures you want from home or a local store. If you prefer not to buy the CD, you can buy your prints individually or choose from a wide selection of products that will be sent to you by mail. I hope this helps with some of the confusion!
Enjoy your "Disney Time!"
