Hi again. Heading to WDW 25/2/12 for 8D 7N with our 4 kids ages 6, 16,17 and 19 for the first time. Trying to come up with an itinerary that will please everyone. Any suggestions when dealing with that large of an age difference? Thanks

    Hi Darla,

    Thank you for your question.

You do have a span of ages but there really is something for every age group at each of the parks.

We have travelled with family and have had a span of ages as well. Here is what we did and it worked for us.  We would pick a park for the day as a group and at points during the day some family would "buddy" up and go to attractions that the little ones were not able to go to and then have a meeting time and place so that we could all rides or shows together or we would meet back for lunch.

What also worked was having me take my son to specific rides/attractions and my husband took the girls and then we would switch.

Your teens will have a great time and I bet will love to experience a lot of the rides with your 6yr old.  Everyone becomes a kid again when they visit Walt Disney World.

There will be an element of compromise on somethings. The excitement and magic of it all will make it worthwhile!!

    Wishing you a fantastic vacation!
