Hi again! We haven't gotten the Rose and Crown Fireworks dinner yet, but I try several times each day. So just in case, where is a great place to watch Harmonious? And how long before should we stake our spot? Thanks!

    Hello Charlene,

Welcome back to planDisney! My fingers are crossed for you that a reservation will open up for you, but let's talk about alternatives, both for Harmonious and for dining.

If you can't get a reservation to Rose & Crown but still want to enjoy some fish and chips, Yorkshire County Fish Shop is a counter service dining located next door. You can use mobile dining to order ahead, let the restaurant know when you've arrived, and pick up your food to enjoy in one of the outdoor seating areas nearby, possibly the perfect spot to view Harmonious.

But how do you find the perfect spot for Harmonious? While there are definitely some vantage points that are better than others, it's a beautiful show wherever you happen to be situated around World Showcase Lagoon. When you look at the lagoon, you'll see a big circular barge. Ideally, you'll want to find a spot where you are facing the center of the circle. The area right by the Port of Entry shop in World Showcase is perfect, as well as the area across the lagoon on either side of American Gardens Theater in the American Adventure Pavilion, but people do start claiming their spots quite early in these locations, sometimes hours before the show. You can usually find a nice place to watch about forty-five minutes to an hour ahead of time in Canada, Mexico, Japan, or Italy. You just want to make sure you don't have a pole or trees obstructing your view.

Hope this helps. Have a magical vacation!
