Hello again! The first day we are coming in this fall we don't plan to hit any of the parks. Is there a boat or bus that goes to the Boardwalk? We thought it would be nice to walk around and enjoy the evening. Thanks!!!!

    Hi Mark:

I appreciate your strategy.  We always skip the Parks on the first day of our trip and choose to take it easy by the pool or strolling around and enjoying the shops, restaurants, and entertainment of Downtown Disney or the Boardwalk area.  I'm assuming you want to head to the Boardwalk area from your Resort.  My recommendation is to take a bus to Hollywood Studios, where you can catch a pleasant boat ride (or take a long stroll) to the Boardwalk area.  There is no direct Resort to Resort bus transportation, so if you want to skip a boat and only travel by bus, you could take a bus from your Resort to one of the Parks or Downtown Disney where you can transfer buses to one of the Boardwalk area Resorts (such as Boardwalk Inn or Yacht or Beach Club).

    Enjoy your vacation.
