Hi again fantastic Mums & Dads! We're looking at the Pirate Cruise for our 7yr old boys (staying at POR). Please could someone let me know how the cruise works in terms of drop off, snacks, etc? Also how early should we book? Many thanks for all your h

    Ahoy Anna!

My son has done the Pirate Adventure Cruise at the Grand Floridian a couple of times and loves it!!  They tell you to arrive 15 minutes early to fill out a little bit of paperwork and see them off.  They will be given name tags and life vests before they head out on their adventure.  The snack the last two times has been a baggy of Goldfish crackers and a bottle of water, so make sure they eat breakfast before they sail away since the adventure is 2 hours.  We arrived about 15 minutes before they were scheduled to return and watched them sail in.  All of the children are given a treasure bag filled with goodies to take with them like bead necklaces, skull rings, jewels and gold coins.

You can book the Pirate Adventure Cruise up to 180 days in advance.  If you know this is something your children would like to do, I highly recommend booking early.  The cancellation policy is 24 hours, so there is plenty of time to change your mind.  A credit card is required at the time of booking, but nothing is charged until the day of the cruise.

    Have a magical day!
