Hello again! I have another ? :) Family of 4, dd will be 5 and ds almost 4. We arrive at the Polynesian on 4/3 staying for 6 nights. My question: What is the difference between online check in and regular check in? Time wise? 1st visit as well :)

    Hi Thaer!

You have a great question here! I have done both Online Check-In and regular Resort Check-In for my Walt Disney World vacations. I can tell you from my experience that the Online Check-In often saves you a lot of time when you get to your Resort.  You can do an Online Check-in beginning 60 days prior to your arrival now (it used to be 10 days before your vacation). Online Check-in is very easy and only takes a few minutes to complete. Online Check-in provides Disney the information that they typically collected at the Front Desk during the standard check-in process. Upon your arrival at your Walt Disney World Resort hotel, you will visit a specially designated Front Desk location where you will be given a welcome folder and your Key to the World Cards. The time difference between the two types of check-in depends largely on how many guests are checking in at the same time as you and your family are, but typically Online Check-in is quicker because some of the check-in work has been done already.

I hope that your upcoming Walt Disney World vacation is truly magical in every way for you and your family!

    Keep Dreaming Big!
