    Me again! Could you explain Disney collections? $95 fee and more points? They are just WDW resorts not included. DVC? I read someplace if cancel some penalty or fee!

    So glad you're back with more questions! :-)

    In the Disney Collection, Disney Vacation Club Members have access to non-Disney Vacation Club properties around the world...including some in Walt Disney World. Other properties in the collection include other Disney Resorts around the world, such as Tokyo Disney Resort, Disneyland Paris Resort and even Disney Cruise Line (one of my favorite way to spend our points...)!

    Because these are properties that are not part of our timeshare, reservations booked at these locations are considered exchanges. When transaction fees apply, Members are charged $95 at the time the reservation is confirmed, and the fee is non-refundable. The specifics regarding cancellation can be found on page 35 of our 2012 Vacation Planner Reservation Tools book which was mailed out earlier this year. Or, you can go to dvcmember.com and select "Booking Guidelines" in the "Making Reservations" section and "Changing or Cancelling Reservations" in the "Managing Reservations" section to access this information online.

    According to our Vacation Planner Reservation Tools book, f a reservation is cancelled, "returned Reservation Points will be deposited into the Use Year in which the cancelled reservation falls. Returned Reservation Points may not be used for Disney Vacation Club Resort reservations or for World Passport Collection exchanges and will expire at the end of your Use Year. Returned Reservation Points cannot be banked."
