Hi again moms!! Do any of you have expierence with renting cabannas at Typhoon Lagoon? Is it worth it or are there usually enough chairs? Thank you!!

    Hi Holly,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! My family has visited Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park many times and, in my opinion, the Beachcomber Shacks (cabanas) are worth the money. Depending on the time of year that you visit, it can be difficult to find an open lounge chair. The summer months typically have larger crowds at the Water Parks. Unless you get to the Park early, (at least 30 to 45 minutes prior to the Park opening) it will be quite a challenge to find available lounge chairs.

The Beachcomber Shacks include towels, a cooler stocked with ice and bottled water, a locker, and refillable mugs. You will also have an attendant who will take and bring your food order to you, more towels, or anything else you may need. The locker was a big plus for us since we did not have to worry about carrying items around the Park. The Shacks accommodate up to six people and it's great to have a meeting spot and an escape from the sun if needed. Availability is on a first-come first-served basis, but you can reserve a Beachcomber Shack in advance by calling (407)939-7529. Food items and alcoholic beverages are not included in the price.

Umbrellas and chaise lounges are also available to rent at a much lower cost and can also be reserved in advance by calling the same telephone number mentioned above. I hope this information helps. Please feel free to stop back by should you have any more questions! Hope you have a "Splashtastic" time!

    Magical Wishes,
    Susan
