Hello again. I will be there in early March, my oldest daughter is an artist and loves animation. Is their any special attraction or tour where she can meet any of the Disney animators or anything like it? Thanks Again.

    Hi David!

Yes, there is special experience in Hollywood Studios that anyone can try out!  It is called Animation Academy which is part of the Magic of Disney Animation Attraction located in the Animation Courtyard in Hollywood Studios. In Animation Academy, you get to try your hand at drawing a Disney animated character as you are being guided by a Disney artist. You get to sit at an animation easel desk and are provided with drawing paper and a pencil that does not have an eraser.  Each class is about 20 minutes long and classes are conducted every 30 minutes on the hour and half hour throughout the day.  If you really like it, you can do it multiple times and draw different characters each time.  The best part is that you get to keep your drawing at the end of your animation session. This is an amazing experience that few people take the time to do, but I will warn you if you do it once, you will want to do it again!

I hope that you and your daughter create some magical drawings together in the Animation Academy in Hollywood Studios on your next trip to Walt Disney World!
