Hello again! We are doing the DDP and we noticed that some of the Epcot menus have chef menus already prepared with appetizer, dinner,& dessert, can we use our table service credit on these prix fix menus? Which country do you recommend with 1.5 & 2.

    Hi Ryan,

I've spoken with a couple of the other Disney Moms, and they have confirmed that on the dining plan they were offered these prix fixe options.  Also, at Whispering Canyon Cafe, there is an all you care to eat option on the menu that includes salad, entree and more side dishes than a human being can consume.  It is available on the dining plan as well.  So, yes, you should be able to use your table service credits for these menu items.

As far as the country I would recommend with you 1.5 and 2 year old children...

We went to Biergarten in the German Pavilion on our last trip.  The restaurant offers a variety of German and American fare served buffet style.  You sit at long tables with other guest, so you have the opportunity to meet some really friendly people, and the atmosphere is that of perpetual Oktoberfest.

If sitting with strangers is not your idea of a good time, I would suggest the San Angel Inn.  The atmosphere is festive, and if you are lucky enough to get a table near the water's edge, your children can watch the boats go by from the Gran Fiesta Tour Starring the Three Caballeros.

    Hope this helps.

Meet the Panelist: Diane, Georgia

After spending 25 years in RI, my husband and I relocated to GA with our youngest, who is now in high school. I took my first trip to Walt Disney World when I was 11 and I have traveled many times since then with all different party sizes. From creating our first itinerary as a honeymooner to later creating magical experiences for our multigenerational family gatherings, every aspect of planning a vacation has been pure joy to me.  Learn More About Diane
