Hi again, Disney Moms! (What would we do without you? Seriously!?) :) Can the desserts at the Rainforest Cafe and T-Rex Cafe that are meant to be shared (e.g: Chocolate Extinction & Sparkling Volcano), be redeemed using a snack credit?

    Hi again Nelika,

Thank you for your kind words! It’s Guests like you who make being a Moms Panelist extra magical!

From what I understand, desserts at Table Service restaurants such as Rainforest Café and T-Rex don’t accept snack credits for anything. Regardless of what you order at the restaurant, if you choose to dine there, you’ll have to use a Disney Dining Plan table service entitlement (for anything you order that is included with your Disney Dining Plan). In addition, I’m told that 2 Guests will need to order these desserts (to share) in order for them to be eligible as part of the “beverage, main course and dessert” combo for redeeming a Disney Dining Plan entitlement. For more current information, I would definitely ask your server when you place your order.

If you plan to go to either restaurant and just have dessert, I strongly recommend paying “out of pocket” for your treats. It would really be a waste of your entitlements to use them only on dessert… as tempting as that may be!

Please don’t hesitate to come back and see us if you have any other questions.

    Have a Magical Day,
