Welcome back to planDisney, Gina! Thanks so much for swinging back by with another question for us today. I love that you're digging into the details of your dining plans. That's really how you get the most magic out of your meals at Walt Disney World!
Tiffins at
Animal Kingdom is a fantastic choice for lunch. It's such a beautiful, immersive restaurant with a really unique menu that ranks really high on my personal favorites list!
When it comes to the
Disney Dining Plan, there is total flexibility when you're dining with a group. If only a couple of folks in your party want to use their Table Service meals while others prefer to pay out of pocket, that is absolutely no problem at all. Just let your server know before ordering how you'd like to split the check and who's using a dining plan versus paying out of pocket. They're super used to handling that kind of request, and they'll make it seamless for you.
You're also right about thinking strategically. If one of the entrée options, like the burger on the prix fixe menu, doesn't feel like the best value for using two Table-Service meals, then paying out of pocket for that meal makes total sense. Save those meals for something special later on in your trip, like another signature meal or
character dining, where you'll personally get more value out of them.
I hope this answers your question, Gina, and please let us know if there's anything else we can do to help you plan your magical vacation!
