Hello again! We were deciding on dining bec our 180 day mark is coming but it was a little difficult bec I'm not sure when the extra magic hrs will be. Last trip I looked online and they changed closer to our arrival? How can I plan if they change?

    Hi Megan!

Yes, I agree with you that it is hard to plan where you are going to eat in Walt Disney World 180 days ahead of your vacation!  I would look online for the posted Extra Magic Hours (EMH) for the days that you will be in Walt Disney World for your vacation (these can be subject to change as you have experienced in the past) but it gives you a place to start.  Typically Extra Magic Hours (EMH) fall for each park on certain days which are:

Sundays- Evening EMH at the Magic Kingdom
Mondays-Morning EMH at Animal Kingdom and Evening EMH at Hollywood Studios
    Tuesdays-Evening EMH at Epcot
    Wednesdays-Morning EMH at Animal Kingdom
Thursdays- Morning EMH at the Magic Kingdom
    Fridays-Morning EMH at Epcot
    Saturdays-Morning EMH at Hollywood Studios

I would recommend using this typical Extra Magic Hours schedule as a starting point and decide what restaurants that you want to eat at and what park that you want to be at on a particular day.  Once you start making your Advanced Dining Reservations then your plan will start coming together.  You will sometimes have to make a choice between the restaurant that you want to eat at or being able to go to a park that has Extra Magic Hours on that particular day.  This is how I plan for my Walt Disney World vacations.

I hope that your next Walt Disney World vacation is truly magical in every way!

    Keep Dreaming Big!
