    Hello again! My daughters and I are registered for the Castaway Cay Challenge in January. I'm wondering what time the race generally begins? We are trying to plan other activities for the day. Super excited - can't wait! Thanks for your help.

    I hope you are looking forward to sailing away with runDisney during the inaugural Castaway Cay 5K Challenge! January will be here before we know it.

    At this time, I am unable to confirm an exact starting time for this tropical race. There is a range time given between 8:00am - 9:00am due to the ship needing to be cleared before passengers will be allowed to disembark. You should receive email communication as we draw closer to departure day. Also make sure to keep on eye out for your Personal Navigator; a ship newsletter that highlights each day's activities. You will find a wealth of updated information via this newsletter.

    You should be able to make plans for your Castaway Cay shore excursions, or for shipboard activities, by late morning.
