    Hi again:) I am considering running the Wine & Dine Half Marathon in November and combining that with a special "mommy/ daughter" weekend for my 8 year old. Do you know if the child care centers extend their hours to cover early races?

    Thank you for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

    I think this sounds like a great weekend for you both!  I love taking one child at a time to Walt Disney World and letting them set the agenda to do exactly what they want.

    The child care centers at the resorts do not generally open early for races. (obviously, this is always subject to change, but they have not done this in the past).  However, I do have a recommendation for you.  I have used Kids Nite Out (kidsniteout.com) for child care on multiple occasions.  They are a contract service that will send highly-trained sitters directly to your room. Many other moms on the Moms Panel have used the service with great results, as well.
