Hello again Cathy. I took your wonderful advice and checked the menus of the QSDP restraunts and ALL look amazing!! Which DP quick service spots do you never miss at the 4 parks for meals and snacks? Leaving next week with 3 children and husband! Thanks!!

Hi, Bonnie!    I'm glad you had the chance to look through some of the dining menus.   There is really a great variety that is more than just the usual burgers and fries if you look around!

In Magic Kingdom, we enjoy Cosmic Rays.   This restaurant has a huge variety from rotisserie chicken to veggie wraps and salads.   My favorite is the BBQ pulled pork sandwich with chips, very yummy!   My kids enjoy getting  seat near Sunny Eclipse - an alien "entertainer" who sings and tells silly jokes!

In Epcot, we like Cantina de San Angel in Mexico.  This outdoor location has tacos, burritos, chips, salsa, and more.   Seating is covered by umbrellas to make it a nice break from the sun.

Try the Flame Tree BBQ in Animal Kingdom.  Their menu has ribs, beef and pork sandwiches, baked chicken wings, onion rings, and even a fruit plate.

Hollywood Studios is the home to Pizza Planet, based on the Toy Story movies.   No trip is complete for my 6 year old until he gets a pizza and plays some games here.    The menu is pizza and salad, but hey, you are in WDW, have some fun, eat pizza and play a few games!   If pizza is not your thing, try the Backlot Express.  It has a lot of seating and not usually too busy.   They have burgers, salads, veggie options, and on the kids menu is sloppy joes (for something a bit different!)

For snacks, you have to get at least one Mickey Ice Cream bar!  These are messy and yummy and you must get one!  They are available throughout the parks and resorts.    Other favorites are cookies or a cinnamon bun on Main Street or a DoleWhip in Adventureland.  When in Epcot, try some of the deserts from around the world in World Showcase.    On every vacation, my mom MUST visit the Boulangerie Patisserie in France for some out of this world desserts.   (Don't worry, you will walk off the calories!)

We just love eating our way around WDW!   I hope you find some favorites during your vacation!

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the snow and cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is hiking at a National Park, sailing on a Disney Cruise Ship, or going to Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. My husband proposed to me in front of Cinderella Castle and we have not stopped visiting ever since! It's a blast helping guests here at planDisney!
