It's me again...does the Boatwright Dining Hall offer a vegetarian option? I can't find it on the menu. Would live to go there but I need something for a Vegetarian. Thank you!

    Welcome back to planDisney, Isabell!

Thanks for sharing your question with us.  I’m a big fan of Port Orleans - Riverside and Port Orleans - French Quarter, especially their food options, so I’m happy to track down the information you’re looking for. Let’s dig in!

Looking over the Boatwright’s Dining Hall menu (which you can find here), it appears that there are multiple vegetarian appetizer options, but the Creole Lentils and “Chorizo” is the only vegetarian entrée I see at this time. I believe the quotation marks around chorizo and ricotta cheese indicate that they are plant-based, but I’d suggest asking your server before ordering just to make sure.

You can find more information about plant-based options at Walt Disney World here. There are hundreds of plant-based snacks and dishes across the theme parks and resort hotels, and you can quickly spot them on menus by looking for the green leaf icon. I’d also suggest checking out the Disney Parks Blog and their Foodie Guides, where they preview the new dishes and snacks for different seasons or special events. The Foodie Guides do a great job of indicating plant-based options, and are super helpful in creating a meal plan.

I hope you have a wonderful visit to Walt Disney World, Isabell. Don’t hesitate to come back if you have more questions. You’re as welcome as can be at planDisney!

Magical travels and laissez bon temps rouler!
