Hi again! This is the BEST panel ever!!! We are planning a visit for Christmas 2012 and will be taking Christmas Day off from the parks and relaxing at the resort. Any suggestions for Christmas dinner?

    Hi, Martha!

Christmas dinner at a Walt Disney World resort...that sounds lovely!

We celebrated Thanksgiving dinner at Cinderella Castle recently, and I have to tell you that many of the resorts and park restaurants will have a holiday menu in addition to the regular offerings.

I don't know which hotel you'll be spending the day in, but I know that many, if not all, of the resort restaurants will include special holiday offerings on those expanded menus as well.  If you aren't sure about the restaurants at your own resort, you can check out some UNOFFICIAL menu discussions on allearsnet.com.  This is NOT a Disney website, but I have found it to be very useful when trying to research menu options, approximate pricing and photos of food as well.   I searched "Christmas Dinner" and found a few postings which included suggestions for Christmas dinner, including menu details and prices.  Keep in mind that this is NOT a Disney website, so the information here may not be accurate, but I think that you'll find the postings very informative as you research your Christmas Dinner Dining Options.  (FYI, the top, non-park, reader choices were Artist Point, Chef Mickey's, California Grill and Victoria and Alberts.)  1900 Park Fare also rated high in this posting.

In my experience, Cast Members and Chefs alike really step it up a notch, if that's possible, on the holidays.  They want guests to feel the magic of the location as well as the holiday, so you're sure to be satisfied no matter what you choose.

Please send any additional questions you may have about your upcoming holiday vacation!  I'd love to help!
