Hello again!! Besides the actual food, what is the difference between character breakfasts and character lunches and dinners? We have ADR to Crystal Palace (dinner) and Tusker House(lunch). I see everyone talking about character breakfasts!!!

Hi Kevin!  I'm so glad you you've stopped back by the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

This is such a great question and you're right, most people do talk a lot about character breakfasts at Walt Disney World.  I know my two favorite character meals happen to be for breakfast as well.  I think the appeal for breakfast is that you can get it done early and hit the parks for the rest of the day.  If you dine at a character breakfast inside one of the theme parks, you can sometimes enter the park early making for great pictures depending on your reservation time.  There are also quite a few character breakfast locations throughout the Disney theme parks and resorts.  When it comes to lunch or dinner, the options are more limited.  Have no fear though, the character interaction is the exact same breakfast, lunch and dinner.  You will be greeted at your table by all of the characters.  They will sign autographs, pose for pictures and dish out lots of hugs no matter the time of day.

I hope this helps ease your mind about the character meals you have chosen.  I think you will especially enjoy Tusker House, their food is delicious.  If you have any other questions, don't hesitate to come back and ask us.

Meet the Panelist: Jackie, North Carolina

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
