Hi Heather!
This is a great question. My family and I love the Pirates and Pals Fireworks Voyage. It is a really fun experience. In August, we met at the Contemporary Resort. For snacks, there was cake and ice cream (Mickey Mouse ice cream sandwiches and popsicles), chocolate coins, popcorn, and cotton candy. Guests could drink coffee, tea, lemonade, ice tea, and water. Drinks and snacks were not offered on the boats, but only at the reception ahead of time.
With regards to great restaurants for a 5 year old, when my children were at that age they really enjoyed:
- Chef Mickey's in the Contemporary Resort
- Whispering Canyon Cafe in the Wilderness Lodge
- Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater in Disney's Hollywood Studios
- Coral Reef restaurant in Epcot
- 1900 Park Fare in the Grand Floridian
- Breakfast at Ohana in the Polynesian Resort
- Cape May Cafe in the Beach Club
I hope this helps! Thank you for sending me this question directly. I really appreciate it!
