Hi Elvira! Welcome back to planDisney!
I'm excited to hear about your upcoming visit to the
Walt Disney World Resort! Thanks for being a loyal visitor to the site, and I hope the answers we provided have helped you plan the ultimate stay!
Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park is one of my favorite places to visit. Between Expedition Everest and Avatar Flight of Passage, there are plenty of thrills to enjoy at this park. Not to mention the abundance of shows and experiences to check out as well.
As you make your way through the ride queue at
Avatar Flight of Passage, you will eventually come to the final room where the ride vehicle is located. In this room, the only Guests will be the individuals in your group (roughly 16) riding this attraction and the Cast Member who is stationed here. There are cubbies (small openings) in the wall directly behind you where Guests are encouraged to leave their belongings. This will include any bags, hats, and other items that you have with you.
I understand if you prefer not to leave your neck pouch in this area, as it will likely contain money. However, I am concerned with the sudden movements on this ride and having this wearable pouch become a hindrance to you. I suggest speaking with the Cast Member once you get to this point in the attraction, or you can ask the Cast Member at the front of the ride line. They will direct you on what your options are.
Based on how this ride is set up, I would feel comfortable leaving my belongings in the cubbies behind the ride vehicle; however, I understand why some may not. There are no other Guests that will be in this area while the ride is operating, except for the few others that are placed in the same room as you.
Elvira, I hope you have a magical time during your stay!
See ya real soon!
Greg
