How much is the afternoon tea at the grand Floridian and what characters are usually there?

    Hello Tania,

Oh my goodness!  I love the Afternoon Tea at the Garden View Tea Room located at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa!  It is a lovely room, elegant, but very laid back at the same time.  My sisters and our daughters love treating ourselves to our girls day a few times a year at this enchanting location.

The Afternoon Tea is definitely not a character dining experience.  Giving you a cost would be a disservice from me to you as there is so much to choose from and the prices vary.  I can say that we have all found it to be very affordable and certainly worth every penny for the quality of the food, service, and the experience.

If you are looking to have tea with a Disney Princess then the same location will work for you.  The event is called Disney's Perfectly Princess Tea and it is AMAZING!  Although princesses are subject to change according to their royal duties for the day, it is usually Princess Aurora who visits with her guests.  Please read more about this magical event here.  You can reserve this by calling 407-939-6983.

I hope this information helps, Tania.  Thanks for visiting the Moms Panel.  Have a magical day!
