Hello Andrea! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
It sounds like you have a lot of your upcoming Walt Disney World Resort vacation well in hand. A visit to Disney Springs, Advanced Dining Reservations and the 2017 Disney Dining Plan are three signs that your visit with be
filled with Endless Magic.
When I use the Disney Dining Plan, I monitor it closely. I check menus, prices and options to ensure that I am always getting the most value for each credit redeemed. As such, I will often pay out of pocket for certain meals while saving my precious Table Service credits for later dining experiences. The great thing about the
2017 Disney Dining Plan is that those credits are mine to redeem as I see fit. If I want to pay out-of-pocket at a participating dining location, then I can choose to pay.
One of the first things that your server usually asks at the many participating 2017 Disney Dining Plan restaurants is whether or not you are on a Dining Plan. If you are on a Dining Plan but would rather pay out of pocket, simply indicate as much to your server and they will accommodate this request.
Remember - credits are yours to redeem as you wish! Just be careful not to be at the end of your vacation with credits still remaining on your Disney Dining Plan as they are not refundable (why yes, it did happen to me once).
Continue your sound planning by taking advantage of
Fastpass+ on your My Disney Experience App. 3 days go by quickly and the less time spent waiting for your favorite attractions the better.
Have a magical vacation!
