I want to take my African American princess to the BBB but am concerned because her hair will not be loose for them to work on and she is not allowed to wear makeup. Is ther another experience that will bring out the princess in her if not this one?

    Hi Dawn -

It sounds like Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique may not be the right experience for your little princess.  Fear not, there are plenty of other ways to give your little one the royal treatment.

Many of the gift stores in the Magic Kingdom (especially in Fantasyland) and in many of the resorts sell princess costumes and tiaras.  Let her dress up as her favorite princess and take her to a character meal featuring Disney royalty!  Cinderella's Royal Table in the Magic Kingdom is the most popular, but there is also a very nice princess character breakfast at Akershus in the Norway Pavilion at EPCOT.

If it's in your budget and you want to give your little girl a very fancy treat, you may want to consider the My Disney Girl's Perfectly Princess Tea at the Grand Floridian.  You and your little girl can dress up and have a special tea party with Princess Aurora from Sleeping Beauty.  Each guest aged 3-11 receives a "My Disney Girl" collectable doll plus accessories.

Call Disney Dining at (407)939-3463 for more information or to make reservations for either the tea party or character dining experiences.

Have a magical vacation with your little princess!

Meet the Panelist: Diane, Georgia

After spending 25 years in RI, my husband and I relocated to GA with our youngest, who is now in high school. I took my first trip to Walt Disney World when I was 11 and I have traveled many times since then with all different party sizes. From creating our first itinerary as a honeymooner to later creating magical experiences for our multigenerational family gatherings, every aspect of planning a vacation has been pure joy to me.  Learn More About Diane
