    Are there any other affordable room options besides a standard room at animal kingdom lodge?

    Hi Rosa,

    Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I am delighted to help you consider affordable room options!

    Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge is a deluxe resort hotel. My family prefers deluxe resort or deluxe villa resort hotels because of the fabulous amenities they offer. When we have compared prices, deluxe and deluxe villa resort hotels have typically priced higher than value resort hotels or moderate resort hotels. Because pricing can vary, I always check the Special Offers to compare prices of different deluxe resort hotels for the dates of our visit.

    I check prices for a few months before booking so that I can get a sense of the average pricing. Other deluxe resort hotels that we love are Disney's Contemporary Resort, Disney's Polynesian Village Resort and Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. I also suggest that you consider the location of the resort hotel to the theme parks. Disney's Contemporary Resort and Disney's Polynesian Village Resort both have access to the Resort Monorail that provides quick access to Magic Kingdom and Epcot. 

    Rosa, pricing will depend on the dates of your visit. If you have not done so already, use the Walt Disney World website to enter the dates of your visit, number of guests and ages of children (if any are going with you). Then, you can see prices of various resort hotels!
