When is the most affordable. least crowded time to visit WDW My daughter who has only been once (her siblings have visited twice) is autistic and doesn't like crowds. Thanks!

    Rochelle:

You'll find that the Law of Supply and Demand reigns at Disney: the most affordable times of the year are also the least-crowded as Disney lowers prices to entice more guests at these times. Value Season in general sees less guests during early-January to mid-February, mid-August through September and mid-November through early-December.

Over the past decade, though, it seems like there are fewer times of the year when the parks are deserted but a few weeks of the year that can definitely see major dips. Typically, as holiday visitors go back to school, you'll see a week with low visitors. After New Year's Day and through the Disney marathon weekend, you'll see fewer crowds, but once the Martin Luther King, Jr. Weekend arrives, visitors return. Another lull occurs the week after Labor Day, again, as children return to school. The last low attendance week is similar to these first two after a holiday: the week following Thanksgiving sees more manageable crowds.

Hopefully one of these weeks might work for your daughter and you.

My family of 6 appreciates Disney's value! Although Ft. Wilderness is our second home, we've enjoyed the resorts for business, reunions and romantic getaways. For me, Disney also means dining: last count, I'd eaten at 55 restaurants around the World! Learn More About Whitney
