What affordable housing options are available for 8 adults for 4 nights at Disney Orlando

Hey there, Toni! Thanks for bringing your question to planDisney! I’m happy to be your guide through the wonderful world of Walt Disney World Resort hotels and help you find a budget-friendly resort option for your magical vacation!

Disney World Resort hotels are organized into three cost categories: value (under $175/night), moderate ($175–250/night), and deluxe (over $250/night). Many resorts generally fit within one category, but prices can fluctuate depending on the time of year or which days you plan to visit, and a resort may move from one category to another. With that in mind, I’m going to highlight resorts listed as value and moderate for your arrival date (12/1/2025).

At the time I’m writing this, the Campsites at Disney’s Fort Wilderness are listed as a value option. There are campsites for all different levels of Wilderness Explorers, including sites for tents, campers, and RVs. Guests staying at this location have access to pools, complimentary bus and water taxi transportation, and a whole slew of outdoor activities like archery, fishing, and pony rides (some activities may require an additional fee). Each campsite is allowed to sleep up to 10 adults.

If you’re not interested in communing with nature during your visit, then Disney’s All-Star Music, All-Star Movies, and All-Star Sports are available as moderate options. These three resorts are known for their impressive decor and fun pools, each designed to fit the resort’s specific theme. All the rooms at the All-Star resorts can sleep up to 4 adults, so you would need to book two rooms to accommodate your whole group.

One benefit of staying at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel—which includes the All-Star resorts and Campsites—is that guests can take advantage of Early Entry. This perk gives you access to the theme parks 30 minutes before regular park opening every day of your stay. It’s a great way to experience some attractions with limited wait times and maximize your time at the parks.

Toni, I hope this helps you in your resort selection. Don’t hesitate to send more questions to your pals at planDisney. Whether it’s questions about resorts, dining, festivals, or attractions, our knowledge crew is here to help!

    Happy planning!
