just afew more questions before i arrive on 11/12/11 staying @ BLT 1st holiday visit. What resort deco is a must see Is the holiday wishes, wishes spectacular the same firework show? what is the water parade? Where can i view illuminations outside the park

    Hi Yolanda,

Wow! Your trip is just a few days away, how exciting!

All of the resorts are decorated beautifully for the Christmas season. The Grand Floridian has a breathtaking, no-to-be-missed giant gingerbread house, the Contemporary has a cool, tall gingerbread tree and the Beach Club has a gingerbread and chocolate carousel that is incredible. While at the Beach Club, be sure to walk next door to the Yacht Club to check out their "sea shell themed" beautiful tree. I especially like the tree in the Wilderness Lodge, it is so stunning.

Holiday Wishes: Celebrate the Spirit of the Season is an exclusive holiday fireworks extravaganza that is different from the regular Wishes fireworks.

The Electrical Water Pageant is a really neat parade with a float that changes colors and designs. It plays music as it goes by and it so fun to watch. It follows this general schedule, displaying in front of these resorts at these times:

    Polynesian Resort 9 p.m.
    Grand Floridian 9:15 p.m.
    Wilderness Lodge 9:35 p.m.
    Fort Wilderness 9:45 p.m.
    Contemporary Resort 10:05 p.m.

While you can see the tops of a few of the IllumiNations fireworks from the Boardwalk area, the majority of the show can only be seen from the edges of the World Showcase Lagoon inside Epcot. IllumiNations is primarily a laser and water show and you'll definitely want to plan to see it from inside the park one night.

Please let me know if you have further questions and have a wonderful vacation,
