Will the Aerosmith roller coaster at Hollywood studios still be operating in February 2025?

    Hey, Lori! Welcome to planDisney!

Thanks for bringing us this rockin’ question. Let’s walk this way to get you an answer.

As your question alludes, it was announced in November 2024 that Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster featuring Aerosmith will be taking its final bow. No closure date has been officially announced, though, so I’m filled with sweet emotion to share that Rockin’ Roller Coaster will be open during your February 2025 visit (ride availability and schedules are subject to change). The eventual closure of the ride might be a bummer to Aerosmith fans, but I’m so glad that guests will eventually get back in the saddle (or super stretch limo in this instance) to enjoy a reimagined version of the experience featuring the Muppets

Again, no official dates have been shared yet, but you know the Disney Parks Blog will have all the details as they are made available.

There’s so much happening at Walt Disney World this year that you’ll probably need to come back for another visit (“Wait a minute. I love that idea.” – Steven Tyler on Rockin’ Roller Coaster). Two new shows—“Disney Villains: Unfairly Ever After” and “The Little Mermaid – A Musical Adventure”—are expected to debut at Hollywood Studios in the summer of 2025. Also planned for later in 2025 is the newly reimagined Test Track at EPCOT and the return of a nighttime parade to the Magic Kingdom, Disney Starlight: Dream the Night Away.

Lori, I know you’ll have a screamin’ good time as you zoom to the hottest concert of the year. Enjoy your day at Hollywood Studios and don’t hesitate to send any other questions my way!
