I was advised by Bernie to remain in Magic Kingdom once I get there on the Fourth of July. What would be a safe arrival time? How early would they close the park due to capacity? Would it be ok for us to arrive around 11am or so?

    Hello, Nasheena!

I see from your earlier question that you are also celebrating your son's birthday that day!  You are in for a treat!

Like Bernie, I also advise that you get to Magic Kingdom Park as early as you possibly can on the Fourth of July.  Of all the parks, this is the one with the biggest, loudest, most spectacular fireworks display on this special holiday; I've never seen the sky light up as if it were day, as it does over and over and over again there, at any other fireworks event...anywhere else...ever.  Because of the magnitude of this display, many Guests are drawn to THAT park over the others, and many folks who can make the drive from their homes will do so as well.

While this was hearsay, I do recall hearing from a resort bus driver that Magic Kingdom Park was at capacity before 11:00 a.m. one year that we were there. Another year, Magic Kingdom Park was at capacity just before noon. Truly, of all the days of your vacation, this is the ONE day that it will be well worth your while to get everyone to the park entrance as close to park open as you can.  Otherwise, it's quite possible that you simply might not get in.

When you do, however, get set for a spectacular day and a wondrous night!  Enjoy your day!
