Hi Lance, welcome home and welcome to planDisney! As
Disney Vacation Club Members, sometimes it’s not about visiting the theme parks from rope drop to close since we know we’ll be back year after year. In fact, we have an upcoming resort only stay at one of my home resorts,
Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa, after a Disney cruise. We plan to take advantage of some much needed pool time and a walk over to
Disney Springs for dinner. Now let’s talk more about Resort activities!
It sounds like you’re interested in the Mickey Tie-Dye activity. This paid activity is a fun activity we’ve done in the past at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge - Kidani Village. The DVC Resorts, dates, and times at which they are offered vary from time to time, although it is generally offered for an hour in the afternoons. However, I was able to confirm that the following DVC Resorts are offering this activity as of February 2026:
- Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge
- Disney’s Beach Club Villas
- Disney’s Boardwalk Villas
- Disney’s Contemporary Resort
- The Cabins at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort
- Disney’s Old Key West Resort
- Disney’s Polynesian Villas & Bungalows
- Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa
- The Villas at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa
- Disney’s Wilderness Lodge
Lance, I suggest that you check out the Resort’s Activities Schedule upon check-in to confirm availability of this activity along with dates, times, and price. In my experience, this activity is typically offered poolside or at the Resort’s
Community Hall. The activities schedule also offers free and other paid activities available to Resort guests, including another family favorite of ours,
Movie Under the Stars. Don’t forget that there’s also
daily campfires with complimentary marshmallows (and s’mores kits for purchase).
I hope this information is helpful for you as you plan out your upcoming trip! If you have any further questions, please feel free to contact me and my fellow panelists here at planDisney!
Your pal,
Sean
