what advise do you give to first time visitors to wdw

Hi Tony - Congrats on planning your first trip to Walt Disney World!  You've definitely come to the right place!

I recommend that first time visitors do their research before visiting.  There are two books I recommend to first time visitors - The Complete Idiot's Guide to Walt Disney World and the Passporter.  After reading the books, you should have a better idea of what parks, attractions, and restaurants you'll want to visit.

If you want to stay on-site, first look at your budget to decide which category of hotel to choose.  Keep in mind that all of the hotels offer the same great benefits to staying at Walt Disney World - such as access to the dining plan, Walt Disney World transportation, extra magic hours, and more.

You can make your trip reservations online, on the phone, or with a Disney travel agent.  If you do want to eat on-site, make sure you make advance dining reservations well in advance, as the popular restaurants do book up early.

    Hope that helps!
